Manchester United will be paying Chilean international, Alexis Sanchez, about £6m of his wages at Inter Milan, according to Sports.
The forward is set to join Inter Milan on loan before the close of the European transfer window as Manchester United have already agreed on a deal to allow the player move to Italy.
Manchester United have agreed on a 10-month loan deal with Inter which does not include an option to buy.
The Premier League club is retaining control of the 30-year-old who still has almost three years left on his contract.
Man United will pay about £6m of Sánchez’s wages with Inter footing the remaining £9.64 million.
Sanchez joined United from Arsenal in January 2018 but his spell at Old Trafford has been a major disappointment.
The Chile international has managed just five strikes in 45 appearances for United. This left United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, keen on seeing Sanchez move on this summer despite a lack of experienced cover in the squad.
Sanchez will hope to have more luck in Serie A where he starred for Udinese earlier in his career before earning a move to Barcelona.
